"My daughter BreAnna has been training BJJ for a year and a half and has gained confidence, life skills and has won medals in numerous competitions under Tyler and Morgan’s coaching. These two are incredible at what they do and are the best at engaging with their students. If you are looking for a gym that will welcome you and make you part of the family Taos Mata Leao BJJ is the place for you."

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is one of the best decisions that our family has ever made. In fact, the term family can describe what has made this experience so rewarding and appealing for us. Both Tyler and Morgan create a dynamic in which an entire family can fall in love with BJJ. All of us began training because we were invited into a family that welcomes, challenges, encourages, and altogether makes one another better through the martial art of BJJ. Your physical and mental strength will be tested, but it is a respectful and understanding environment for various ages and gender. We are a family of 5, our ages range from 30 years old to 2 years old, and we all have developed a passion for the sport. We have been training for under a year with the exception of our oldest son who has been for over a year. The reason we all started to get involved and train is largely due to Tyler and Morgan, and their approach.

"My sons (3 and 5) started jiu jitsu with Coach Morgan and Coach Tyler several months ago as a way for them to burn off their crazy energy. What we got out of this was SO MUCH MORE! Our boys have been getting great exercise, building coordination, learning to be a good listener, how to follow directions, how to practice and use self discipline and self control. It has also given my older son the opportunity to practice leadership skills and build his confidence. In addition to all of these amazing things…they are amazing with children. They use the perfect balance of care and discipline to maintain productive classes. I highly recommend this opportunity ."

"Jiu jitsu is not the art of hitting, its the art of not getting hit. Start your child’s journey to a stronger more confident self today. the goal is to develop focused respectful student through the art of brazilian jiu jitsu while they are learning to defend themselves with powerful martial arts. the real benefit is the person they become along the way."
